5 easy and effective detox drink to make at home

Adequate intake of water can help to maintain proper functioning of the body organs and improve overall good physical health. Especially warm water as it gets absorbed quickly. According to traditional Indian medicine Ayurveda, drinking warm water can increase body temperature, promote metabolism, helps to get rid of unnecessary toxins from the body. In addition to direct consumption of plain water, try the following five kinds of warm water instead of any flavored, high-sugar drinks to achieve weight loss, healthy body and beautiful skin.

 

1. Lemonade

Drink a glass of warm water with lemon. The citric acid in lemon helps to relieve brain fatigue, and promote gastrointestinal motility. 3. Ginger water

Ginger is known for its warming property. It contains a lot of “gingerol” (Gingerol), by warm water after heating, it gets transformed into “zingiberene phenol” (Shogaol) which makes it more effective.

To a glass of liquid add 1 tbsp of grated fresh ginger. Let it boil at 90 degree Celsius for 5 minutes. Then steep for another 2 minutes and enjoy ginger water.

Honey contains a variety of vitamins, including vitamin B1, vitamin C, niacin, as well as iron, calcium, potassium and other minerals. It has a laxative and liver detoxification properties.
